Wanted to share an experiment I did today at my field placement with the preschoolers. we made 'volcanoes' out of apples. Since we are in Fall we decided to use a fruit we are familar with (apples)! We used baking soda, dish soap, food coloring (to make it more exciting) and vinegar. The students each got to help out putting the solutions inside the apple and then observed as it erupted. This lesson was really fun and exciting for them. If you need an idea you should give it a try! Promise the kids will be entertained.
