As a student, I was not always interested and most definitely not always engaged in the lesson. With science especially, I think it is important to be as hands on as you can with students. I think bringing more nutrition to the curriculum would be very beneficial. Until taking a nutrition class in college, I was not knowledgable at all about eating a balanced diet, or what I was eating at all. Not only is this valuable information that we can use in everyday life but it is interesting and can be fun to learn about!
