Thank you for sharing this, Kathy!
I have always thought that play is SO essential for children, and stifling that innate curiosity can inhibit students from becoming lifelong learners. Wed, Jun 03, 2020 9:28 AM Great for any teacher
This was a very helpful book for a teacher of Emergent Multilingual Learners (EML). I thought the 5 R model (Replace, Reveal, Repeat, Reposition, and Reload) was a practical tool to help teachers aid students in language acquisition and usage. The text goes through each of the R's with examples, and how each aspect of the model helps students make sense of science. I would suggest reading this book if you have any English learners in your classroom.
