Assistant Professor at Temple University teaching general and university physics courses. Prior to joining Temple , Magrakvelidze served as a tenure-track assistant professor at the Cabrini University and University of Mary Washington, where she received the seventh annual Chi Beta Phi Outstanding Faculty Award. Magrakvelidze’s goals as a teacher are to focus on helping students increase their confidence, critical-thinking skills, and understanding of fundamental concepts of physics. She wants all her students to not only understand the concepts but also to have a real feeling for the concepts so that they gain the ability to use their knowledge in other classes and throughout their everyday lives.
