Great opportunity to use a Venn diagram

I plan on using this podcast (and likely the rest of the webinar) in my language arts class to review compare and contrast and incorporate more science into our curriculum. There is a lot great info in just a few minutes. My one complaint is the editing at the end, it should have been cut a minute sooner before the segment on volcanoes begins.

Includes a great Hands-On Activity

I really liked the Hands-On Activity found in the Population Distribution Density portion of the object. I think that it would be a great activity to do with my students to make science and math real and applicable to them. A lot of the information presented in this SciObject is related to or the same as information in the Resources and Human Impact SciPack.
