Excellent Resource Guide

This article is great for teachers who dont have the money to go out and buy the top of the line gadgets, or even for teachers who want to reuse as many materials as possible. I highly recommend using resources you can have readily available, and know that recycling is a great way to lessen our impact as well as get materials you can use in the classroom. This gives a guide for how to look for recyclable materials as well as tips on what you can make with those materials. Im going to be looking for these programs to use with my students.

Excellent Watershed Lesson

This journal article explained a watershed lesson thoroughly as well as walked the reader through the activity as if they were the one teaching it. It had all of the concepts laid out, with each of the lesson components interwoven with the material needed and the lesson that the teacher wanted the students to learn. It included artwork from the classroom, as well as the standards that were used in this lesson. It is an easy read, with everything fully explained and lesson plans offered. This is a great resource for someone teaching about watersheds, what they are, who lives there, and human impact on watersheds. This article left very little to the imagination, and reads as easily as a extended lesson plan.
