Growing up, I didn't have the best science teachers and it ended up being one of my least favorite subjects after graduating high school. It wasn't until college where I started to appreciate the significance of science, but given the distinctive atmosphere of college courses, I never got the chance to observe what makes a good primary/secondary science teacher.

In my opinion, that deduction percentage seems really high with the idea that reasons for absences and late work may be more than what we're aware of, but it is understandable that students need to be accountable with their responsibilities.
