Literacy in Science

This collection is just full of great materials to help guide and connect literacy to science. There are plenty of Methods and Strategies articles that help enhance teaching and give different ways to bring literacy into the classroom. Even includes a lesson using poetry to teach science in an interesting way! Lastly, I really like the Poetry of Science articles that are short but give great ideas and plans for building literacy.

Assessment and Phenomena in Science

This collection seems to be filled with great information on all types of materials. From assessment information, science 101 articles, to even choosing solid phenomena to use. It could be very helpful and informative to a new teacher in science. I also like the methods/strategies and language of science pieces. As a new teacher, I really do think these articles could help as I develop my science classroom.

Science 101 and Early Years Info

I really love this collection! Plenty of different articles from Science 101 and Early Years series. These articles are short, have plenty of great information, and even have great visuals to relate to the reading. The information ranges from matter to weather and seems to even be organized by Science 101 and Early Years articles. There is also even more articles dealing with stars, plants, and energy.
