I love Pintrest as well! It is a great tool for teachers. I have a board just for elementary lesson plans. There is always something to find, if not to do the exact lesson or just give a starting idea. Air pollution Collection

Great Collection!

This collection can be very resourceful for a teacher. I like how there are inquiry lessons for students, but also there is a journal article for teachers on how to reduce air pollution in the classroom. There is a wide range of articles from navy ship filters to how to have less indoor air pollution. The only critical review I would give would be that the title of the collection states that the collection is for elementary and middle school age children, but there is hight school material in the collection. I am sure as a teacher it is possible to make it that age group appropriate.

I want to use this when I am a teacher

I think it is great that you have inquiry lessons in your collections! There is more to a collection then just resources then just articles. I also thought the activities in the column was a great addition as well. I would have liked to see a little more resources of the teacher to be more knowledgeable on the subject that is being taught. There are many different types of food chains within different animals so to have even more information for the teacher could not hurt. I would like to use this collection for myself when I become a teacher, I think it will be a great resource. Great job!

Pollution Collection

Great start!

This collection is very diverse, there are many different types resources included. It is nice to see that almost each category is being used. I think the collection needs more resources about other types of pollution then just oil spills. I think the creator of the collection could add some student related activities, like a science experiment of some type. I think this collection is a great start for a inquiry lesson, but there is room for improvement. There are great teacher resources included in this collection, all it needs more for the students. It was interesting to see the coral reef science object, I'm sure there is great information that a teacher could use outside the realm of oil spill pollution. Like I said before I think this is a great start!
