Should the Scientific Method Still be Taught?

I enjoyed reading the controversy of should teachers throw out the scientific method or should they continue using it with science education . I do think this article had some bias as it strongly suggested throwing out the scientific method as it is inquiry based. I think that the two of these concepts can be cohesive. I think the scientific still holds valuable information and should not be thrown out all together.

Responsible Lab Safety

I like this article because it gives good information on safety procedures for labs or experiments. I think teachers should read this article because it not only discusses ways that students can be safe while partaking in experiments but it also gives advice on how students can take responsibility for their work and develop positive attitudes towards what they are learning.

Amazing Information!

I really enjoyed this article. I found the information to be useful and valuable for teachers. This article explains the important of formative assessments and formative assessment probes. I think formative assessments are vital because it allows teachers to use it as a guide to instruction.
