The Interactive E-Book, Ocean's Effect on Weather and Climate served to be incredibly beneficial to me in planning a lesson about evaporation for the fifth grade. This not only covered multiple aspects of the water cycle that helped me develop the background knowledge necessary to understand for my students, but was also written plainly enough so they could understand and access the information too. Aside from the specifics of the water cycle and evaporation, this Ebook covers a range of purposes and functions of the ocean and how integral of a role it plays in our earth systems. This resource provides instructional tips and formats for educators to effectively relay this information to students. It also contains common misconceptions students may have regarding the material. I personally found this to be very helpful in planning instruction, so I could be as thorough as possible in areas where students commonly struggle. I have no doubt that I will return to this resource in my own future teaching career and I highly recommend this interactive e-book to other educators looking to plan lessons and find resources for topics regarding ocean's effect on weather and climate and earth systems.
