Engaging and hands-on lesson
I think this lesson would make such a fun and engaging lesson for students. I think they would find a lot of joy and it's something they most likely wouldn't forget. The lesson is very hands on when it comes to building the prototypes which will help the material stick with students. I liked that it mentioned safety concerns to be aware of to keep the students safe.

Fun experiment!
I enjoyed reading this experiment, I found it to be very detailed and if you were to use it in your classroom, I think the students would find it very fascinating and engaging. Teachers can use the beginning conversation about scientists and general people generating inventions for ideas and the topic of energy efficiency to engage the students before beginning the lesson that involves the pizza.

Pop-up thermometers
I loved this article; I learned a lot myself about how the pop-up thermometers worked. I liked that it talked about how this idea generated from the idea of fire sprinklers. This idea brought in a new connection that I think would make the lesson more engaging. I think this lesson would be really fun for older students to experiment with.
