Tue, Nov 29, 2022 7:14 PM Building Student-Centered Classrooms
This video is a must-watch for any teacher looking to empower their students to engage in discussion. Countless strategies are provided that eliminate the "teacher as answer-keeper" perception. Instead, these strategies show students they are the constructors of knowledge and can reach amazing conclusions by engaging in discourse with one another. In addition, the presenters do a great job of providing scaffolds that build student confidence and classroom norms for conversation. Teachers can take these STEM strategies and apply them to all content areas!
