I am teaching a lesson at a community center. I want to show chemical change with baking soda, shaving cream, and vinegar, but I am not exactly sure how to explain it. Can someone please give me some advice on how to explain this to a group of kids, ranging in grade from 1st all the way to 12th grade? Thank you in advance!

I am also a senior at U of H, but I am in a 2nd grade math and science classroom. We are currently working with the students on collecting data for weather, at the end of the lesson we are going to have the students present the weather and make their own commercials to make it fun.
