Awesome tool!
- I chose to put this article in my collection because I loved how there were 5 different lessons that are explained out for us to use and implement in our classrooms. Each lesson has so many different types of energy for our students to explore and begin to understand.
- I learned how to find and explain the energy found in any toy. This is something that our students can easily understand because of what they play with at home. -4.(6) Force, motion, and energy. The student knows that energy exists in many forms and can be observed in cycles, patterns, and systems. The student is expected to: (A) differentiate among forms of energy, including mechanical, sound, electrical, light, and thermal. This TEK would work in my 4th grade classroom when completing all of these lessons throughout the week to introduce the different types of energy.
- I really enjoyed reading this article because it gave me so many ideas about how to teach about energy. Im so excited to use these experiments in my classroom to show students first hand what energy is!
