My name is Carolina Lopez. I turn 21yrs old on May 25th. I am currently on third year of college, aka, I am a junior. I am studying Special Education to later on, get a masters degree in Speech Pathology. Working with children and helping the future become that much better has been a passion of mine for a while now. I currently work at the undergraduate education academic advising office in FIU and I am interning at SPEC, a speech pathology office.

I liked this science object a lot because it really made sure you understood the difference between kinetic and potential energy thoroughly. It gave students the opportunity to see a bunch of different examples of each energy and engaged them by providing pictures and sounds of every day activities that include these energies.

I chose this because this entire semester we have been working on how to incorporate this into our classroom and if you used the four main parts you will be successful. Starting with, engaging in questions, finding evidence when responding to the questions, formulating an explanation from the evidence found and then connecting the explanation to scientific knowledge.
