Interesting Inquiry Activity
Jordan uses real time traffic control information to teach an inquiry based lesson on distance/rate/time problems. I like the idea of using airplane traffic to teach this concept. I think the students would like the Smart Skies program and learn the benefit of using math to solve problems. Teaching mathematical reasoning is tough and this is an interesting idea.

Newton's Laws in Action
A good review of Newton's Laws, but by applying it to rocket launches from NASA, it is easy to see how they are utilized by scientists in real life situations. Great explanations of staging rockets and landings using Newton's Laws. The three activities provided will be fun and practical to do in the classroom without much expense.

Circular Motion
Good program to view for different ways to approach teaching circular motion. It addresses frame of reference concerning centrifugal forces and orbits and the role of inertia and gravity in teaching these concepts. The questioning sessions used to ascertain prior knowledge were excellent.
