These are all great examples on how to demonstrate seasons, eclipses, different temperate zones, etc. The materials involved, that you all mentioned, are very accessible, free or very inexpensive. I can always use material I have around the house or my classroom. I look forward to my introductory lesson on the solar system. Thanks!

I first heard of a Promethean Board on a website (superteacherworksheets.com). There are posters on the website but I need Promethean Board program to use or even see them. Do you know of any other way to view anything that is a "Promethean Board" program for those who don't have the program (on computer) and board itself? Is it like a Smartboard?
