Honesty is always the best policy. Let the student know that you don't have the answer to that question. You may choose to research the question independently or as a class. The most important thing is to not let the question go unnoticed. Never ignore a student's question. If you say you're going to research it and return with an answer, be sure to do just that.

I am searching for an action research topic in education. I was thinking about traditional teaching vs. technology. Are students really learning more with the use of technology in the classroom? Volcanic activity findings on the moon is very interesting to me. I just completed my scipack on Earth/Space Science. I am learning a great deal of content knowledge. I must admit,it was a challenge. Thank you for posting.
