Let’s Dig! Exploring Fossils

I really like this book as it allows you to have ten already made lessons to do for a fossil dig that are really easily broken down and easy to use. I used this book when I did a unit on fossils and this book made it so easy to do the fossil dig and allow the students to learn what I wanted them to learn. Another thing that I like about this book is that it allows you to play with the students imagination as you can pretend like someone is asking you to do the fossil dig and from experience the students really like this part.

I like this article because it provides many different lessons about how to show students how to date fossils. I like this article because it would allow you to build upon the fossil dig activity that was already done and this article would allow you to continue building upon what the students are learning.

Digging Science: Building a fossil pit in your schoolyard

I think that this would be a really fun and good activity to do in a school because it is something that could be used by all the grades at that school. I like this activity because it would allow the students to be outside and it could better help to reach many different modalities that students may have and this is something that I am always looking for to help students to learn. This is something that I would like to do someday in the future when I am a teacher at a school.
