This resource did a great job of teaching a concept that is so close to home by picking an object that is so accessible. Often times students don't feel connected to their subject matter, because the tools feel too out of reach in their everyday environment. Something as subtle as cucumbers is an excellent way to explain how flavors can change into bitterness; which is knowledge students can apply to greater stages in their science careers.

Buoyancy Feedback

This resource is a great exercise in getting to know buoyancy. It is not enough for students to simply read textbooks and fill out worksheets. This resource helps layout a wonderful activity that teachers everywhere can use to activate the minds of their young scientific learners.

I thought this resource did a phenomenal job busting myths. What we once knew and what we continue to unfold about science is fascinating. This resource did a great job organizing the multiple facets of investigating what it truly means to be a planet.
