Hi Anita,
I am currently a senior at the University of Northern Iowa. One idea my professor gave us was floating and sinking. I think this would be fun for the students in grades K-3. You could bring multiple objects and ask the students if the items would float or sink. The cool thing about this is, that some objects will surprise the students.
