LaRosa's Human Impacts on Ecosystem Collection

I looked at LaRosa’s collection. Her collection was about human impacts on the ecosystem. I really enjoyed looking at her collection and how all of the sources related so well to her topic. I liked that she had a mixture of different types of resources in her collection. She included journal articles and science objects. Her first journal article: “Clued In” to Their Environment helps students become better acquainted with Florida’s natural environment. It also has a great activity where students can learn about their home state’s environment. Another source that I really enjoyed was titled The Green Room. This article explains ways teacher can teach their students how to become green. It gives some really great examples of ways we can become greener in our every day life. It gives examples such as turning off the light whenever you leave the room to reducing paper usage by using electronic communication whenever possible. All of her sources were really great information to use. These are sources that I will keep in mind for the future because they were all extremely helpful.
