I believe that STEM is very important, but so are the fundamentals. Students need to have a background or scaffolding to allow their knowledge to have connections. If I were to simply begin a hands-on type activity without the students having the vocabulary and basic concepts understood, they will not retain the information of the activity. You could always try google! Honestly you can find some good stuff on there. Other than that, watching visuals on youtube, or demonstrations would always help reinforce understanding of a content.
