Plant Roles Collection
Fri, Mar 26, 2021 6:59 PM Great collection of resources
Cintia's collection is very specific and detailed. I would love to utilize her collection of resources when learning about plants, flowers, and how plants grow. Mostly, I appreciate the resource "Classroom Terraria: Enhancing students understanding of plant related gas processes" This resource thought me new things myself and ideas of how to incorporate this topic in the classroom while using "hands on approach".
This collection is all I need to create a very engaging 5E lesson plan about this topic.

Sun, Nov 15, 2020 6:21 AM Great resource of ideas for the classroom
This is a great collection of resources for elementary school science classes. Especially I enjoyed the resource "Whoo Eats what" chapter 34. This chapter is full of fun and engaging activities for our school-aged children. It also gives us ideas for additional literature, connections to curriculum, and activities connected to a particular book and curriculum.
Additionally, on a similar base, I appreciated the book "What does an animal eat" This book is great for also for young students because of its clear and interesting illustrations explaining what different animals eat.
Great collection, I will try to use some of these ideas in my classroom as well.

I really appreciate that your collection is not focused only on Elementary education but you also included integrating STEM into Early Childhood Education (the second resource).
I believe creating fundamentals for STEM goes a long way and students will greatly benefit from this in their future education.
I also appreciated "Methods and Strategies: Teaching the Nature of Science to Elementary Students" I will add this resource also to my library because it is full of great ideas for integrating Science in our elementary classrooms.
Last but not least, the Interdependence of Life; an interactive e-book, is a great resource of different topics for students in the classroom and at home as well. I believe students enjoy interactive e-books more than general books thanks to their involvement and active reading.
