There are SO many resources available on NSTA for this! My best recommendation for safe at-home experiments that students can do at home would be the Home Connections Collection by Kathleen Damonte. Just wanted to share, there are some really great resources out there that are aligned with the NGSS standards that you could take a look at. I know that Mystery Science and Better Lesson have the NGSS standards incorporated and they have some pretty neat lessons, interactive activities, and resources. I'll be honest, I haven't really seen any science materials in my placement classrooms. The majority of my own collected science materials have come from my Science Methods professor throughout my senior year.
