Insightful!

This article really gave me insight in terms of teaching younger students. We usually teach concept maps to older students usually when planning to write an essay or organizing our thoughts after we read. This article showed that there is more to that and students can use it from a younger age. I did appreciate the explanation for not only how to adapt the map for younger students but also as an extension into other activities that you complete with students.

Diverse Learners is a Great Resource

This collection truly is great and provides quality material for active and pre-service teachers. It provides a background on diverse learners as well as strategies to teach and to assist students who require it. The journal article in "Strategies for ELL Success" is probably my favorite because it provides strategies based on student-based learning and the 5E model. It was very nice to also see that there are book chapters included as well. I would love to see more collections similar to this.
