Really, I don't think that getting girls interested and involved in science is very hard, as long as you don't make it seem like only boys can do science. Science doesn't have to be made "girly" (pink bows, flowers, hearts, etc) for girls to be interested in it. Just treat all your students the same way and focus on engaging all your students in the lesson, and they'll be interested.
