I was in my classroom today and I was wondering about how ESOL and ESE students are trying to understand science concepts and inquiries. So I was wondering what are someways you can help ESOL and ESE students understand the concept as well as the different inquiries and how you can make sure that they understand the lesson?

I feel that it is an amazing idea to allow students to reflect what they learned in science journals. Even myself who is in a college course have teachers that require us to complete a journal entry on what we have done. I was in a classroom last year before I took my teaching science class this year. While I was there, I noticed that there was barely science being taught and the reason the teacher gave me was because there was no time.
As an incoming teacher, I have always wondered what teachers should do in order to make sure that science is being taught in a classroom?
