How can I find an activity that will make all the students want to participate and interact in the lesson? What are some good attention grabbers when teaching a subject they might not be interested in? What if the students come to me with little to no background knowledge due to teachers pushing aside science in the lower grades?

This is an awesome activity that I remember doing in a math class. (The inflatable balls are a great activity for many other subjects and are a great way to get the quiet kids to participate).
