All About Plants Collection
This is a great collection of varied resources, such as journal articles, book chapters, and SciPacks that center on the theme of plants as living organisms which require water, light, and nutrients. This collection includes three wonderful journal articles: "Assessing Students' Ideas About Plants," "Journey to the Reef," "Science 101: Do Plants Communicate?," and "Thirsty Plants in Arid Places." These journal articles are amazing and varied resources as they provide information and lessons on not only plants on land, but plants in the sea! The SciPack, "Coral Reef Ecosystems," is a great resource for touching up on knowledge of the coral reef ecosystems. Last, the book chapter, "Plants," provides fantastic lessons that bring outdoor science into the classroom.
