Tim Carey is the Elementary STEM Coach for the Xenia Community School district. As a STEM Coach, Tim serves 100 teachers and nearly 2000 students. He teaches model STEM lessons with students, shares best practices in STEM with teachers, and coordinates extra-curricular activities such as LEGO robotics, drone competition teams, and summer STEM camps.
Outside of school, Tim is a DoD STEM Ambassador, a STEM Fellow with the Dayton Regional STEM Center, an Air Camp counselor, an Air Force LEGACY teacher, and a member of the DO STEM Ecosystem. He has written curriculum for a number of organizations including the National Parks and the Dayton Art Institute.
Tim is currently serving as an NSTA STEM Fellow.
