I teach Chemistry at Sayreville War Memorial High School in Parlin, NJ, where I am an active participant in my district's Curriculum Committee, as well as serve on the District and building ScIP (School Improvement Panel). I also serve on a committee that is researching implementing Academies, including a STEM-oriented academy. I have a passion to improve public education across the state of NJ and recently was elected to my local school board of education, and participate actively in New Jersey School Boards' iSTEAM initiative.

I have to teach a chapter on Electricity and Magnetism as part of my general science course. As a Chemistry teacher, it isn't one of my strongest subjects. This was a great refresher!
