It has been instersing seeing how important hands on learning truly is to our students as well as how much parents are giving the answers so they can be done eeven if their child isnt learning.

I agree with the Family Scienc Night. I also read an article earlier about a school that had science backpacks that tudents could check out and they would take the backpack with materials home and a parent would help the child complete the expieriment. This helped build those family to school connections.

SInce i am working in the first grade for my ELL we use alot of picture clues as well as demonstrations in order to get him on the right track!
