Depending on what Stndard you are trying to cover they can go outside and do different observations with weather change, phases of the moon keeping a chart of the moon, collecting different rocks, explore different different types of water features. There is a lot of possibility for what can be done at home in the enviornment.

I believe they will be more likely to. It is dissapointing from what I have seen is that students who have been and will continue to be online are struggling but they also do not want to come back to school.

With my EL learners in STEM, I have found that giving visuals and manipulatives and doing demonstrations are effective to help teach. Depending on the need of the EL having these visuals or manipulatives have helped the student understand compared to lecturing or taking notes.
