I am 21 years old. I was born and raised in Miami, Fl. My mother is from Cuba and my father is from Nicaragua. I'm also bilingual, I speak English and Spanish. Hola! I am an Early Childhood Education major. And I am currently the assistant director of after school care in a charter school in Miami Dade county.

Students can create their own science notebook in the class by using a composition book, and post its for tabs.
Its an inexpesive and quick way to create a journal. Each tab will have the name of a section such as observations, or data. In the beginning of the journal, the students will create a table of continents.

Science is everywhere! All children are curious is given the correct question, which makes them wonder, and develop an answer. Young children are especially curious, and amazed by almost everything. If children are taught to observe, and ask questions, they can "do" science almost anywhere.

This wonderful collection explores the abiotic and biotic factors of the environment. Within this collection, you'll find living and non living things, and their relationship to one another. It is a great collection to connect the relationships between the two different factors. Students will learn about human interactions with the environment, living organisms and their needs, how organisms, such as plants create their own food through photosynthesis and much more. The articles, as well as the videos, can be used to develop a well plan inquiry lesson that will engage students to explore their five senses.
