I also loved the teacher blog as well. I think it's cool to be able to chat with other teachers about what worked and didn't work for them. Utilizing the Project Approach

Great Idea for Community Involvement
This was a wonderful resource to read about incorporating engineering within the school and community. I really enjoyed how this resource explained what engineering was and how to properly utilize it in the classroom. I also really liked the idea of the Family Science Engineering night. This community school event helps to show the importance of involvement between students and their families. This relationship with the school is crucial for the facilitating of learning, because students, teachers, and guardians will become accountable for their student's academic success.

Many Levels of Inquiry Review
This a wonderful resource about the different levels of inquiry. This resource does a great job of creating a starting point for teachers in creating their own inquiry-based science classroom. Inquiry-based instruction encourages students to ask questions, make observations, and support their claims using the evidence they have collected throughout the activity. This resource describes each of the different levels of inquiry, while also providing an activity to match. The activities that are given in the article are thorough and can be easily duplicated with ease.
