I am a credential student at San Diego State University. This year I am working in a 4th and 5th grade combo class. I am extremely interested in environmental science and hope to embed a knowledge and respect of the world and its interconnected systems within my future students.

    Energy Transfer in Ecosystems

    This resource collection contains information for teachers to learn about the cycle of matter and energy through ecosystems. The SciGuides are modules that are really heloful for learning about the process. They cover information about food webs and the connection between all organisms and their habitats. The other resources I have included contain activities and experiments to conduct within the classroom that are hands on and allow students to begin to understand interdependence within ecosystems. They focus upon the cycle of matter and energy in a way that is accessible to students.
