1. Why did you choose to put this article in your collection? Be specific...."because it looked interesting" is not sufficient. I picked this article because I feel like students usually really like space activities and I wanted to see if I could find more fun activities. 2. What new information did you learn? This article taught me some of the different essentials frameworks for grades K-12 that I didn't know about. 3. What TEKS would it go with and how could you use this information in your classroom? K.8.C- The student is expected to: observe, describe, and illustrate objects in the sky such as the clouds, moon, and stars, including the sun. 4. Based on your experience, is there anything in the article that you agree with? Disagree with? Have questions about? I agreed with all the frame works that the article gave us. I also really like that it gave us some help with the standards that need to be used with this article.

Force and motion

Journal Article Reviews 1. Why did you choose to put this article in your collection? Be specific...."because it looked interesting" is not sufficient. I picked this article because I feel like sometimes is hard for students to understand how force affects the motion of objects. 2. What new information did you learn? This article thought me how to explain to students how force affects motion. It also gave me some preassessments and activities that I can do with my students. 3. What TEKS would it go with and how could you use this information in your classroom? 1.6.C The student is expected to: demonstrate and record the ways that objects can move such as in a straight line, zig zag, up and down, back and forth, round and round, and fast and slow. 4. Based on your experience, is there anything in the article that you agree with? Disagree with? Have questions about? I agreed with all the information and activities that the article gave me. I also really like that these activities are more hands on.

Assessment

1. Why did you choose to put this article in your collection? Be specific...."because it looked interesting" is not sufficient. I picked this article because I know assessment sometimes cause a lot of anxiety to some students. I thought that this article will help me find other ways to assess the students without them having anxiety. 2. What new information did you learn? This article game me information on other different ways I can assess my students. I also really liked that it actually gave me some tasks and test questions that I could use instead of the assessment. The tasks the article gives you are mainly hands on activities where you can test that the student is doing it right and knows the material. This article also gives a great rubric for how to grade the students based on the task. 3. What TEKS would it go with and how could you use this information in your classroom? Since this is an assessment article I think it could go with any of the TEKs. I would definitely try to incorporate what I learn in this article with as many lessons as possible. 4. Based on your experience, is there anything in the article that you agree with? Disagree with? Have questions about? Based on my experience I agree with everything the article says about test anxiety. I also really agree with all the activities and rubrics they provided. There is really nothing that I disagree with on this article.
