My NSTA / Peers / Darrell Williams

21st year of teaching; first (2) years in an urban district; 3rd and 4th years in an upper middle class district; last (17) years in a suburban middle class district (lower to mid-middle class). I have been teaching Physical Science for the past 20 years. My latest classroom goals have been: 1. More practical use of Pasco equipment 2. Increase Action Research 3. Increase classroom opportunity for students to become more involved in personal research and science activity 4. Utilize my experience with NASA/ DOE/ PPPL in the classroom!!!

I am currently involved in two STEM/ Teacher Leadership programs. Not exactly sure where these will be taking me/ our district in terms of curriculum, STEM, student activities, my role in our district. I am looking to increase my 'expertise' in STEM and integration of NGSS.
