Good points. I totally agree with you. I love field trips involving students' own experience and more importantly they will have fun together with their classmates.

I couldn't agree with you more on it is never too early to introduce the safety concepts to students. The safety is fundamental and crucial for learning science. It is a splendid idea to make "Safety" posters to illustrate the safe handling of experiments, which will enable students to notice the significance of the safety in the experiments. And I think before taking the science class, the science teacher should be trained for the safety of the materials and equipment.

I am very enjoying read your article review 1. It is well organized and in order. I agree with you on it's paramount for teachers to ascertain the targets and central focus before class based on the standards advised in GSE or other formal and authoritative websites. And the example you provided is typical and articulated clearly, which can verify you have read this article carefully and had a deep thinking.
The Early Years: Integrating Digital Tools
Mon, Dec 04, 2017 6:04 PM
Reflection
It is true that integrating digital tools in science class is ubiquitous nowadays. I agree with you on the teacher need to be professional in using digital tools, so teacher can provide student-friendly instructions for them. While employing digital tools, the teacher in science classes need to consider the disadvantages of using it and try to avoid them. For example, when allowed to glean resources from internet, students may check their emails or browse other social websites, which will influence their learning and waste their time in class.
