I am a nationally certified STEM educator who is passionate about teaching science! I teach middle school science at Community Christian School in Pease, Minnesota, and am the former STEM Education Specialist for Christian Schools International. I have had the opportunity to present at NSTA national and regional conferences, Van Andel Education Institute's Science on the Grand, MISF STEM Education Conference, Heartland Teachers Convention, and Christian School Educators Science Academy. NSTA has become the "go-to" site for much of my professional development and implementation of best practices in science pedagogy. I fully utilize NSTA conferences, the STEM Forum, webinars, journals, books, articles, NGSS resources. I especially appreciate the willingness of educators to share resources and respond to questions in the NSTA Learning Community. I am a better educator because of my affiliation with the NSTA.
