I agree with Kathy as well, I participated in a lot of inquiry activities in my university science class and it was very messy. Messy in the sense that science is "spur of the moment" you might be observing one minute you get an idea the next and then all of a sudden you have a prediction. I observed a teacher who had the same problem. She decided to keep it simple in order for the students to tru...

I agree with you, I find science to be very intimidating. Before taking a science course at my university I was a wreck (very nervous about teaching science). Life Cycle of a Plant Collection
Sun, Apr 08, 2012 7:55 PM Life Cycle of a Plant Review
This collection includes many great resources in order to teach The Life Cycle of A Plant. Not only does this collection include articles that can be beneficial for both teacher and student but it also includes many activities that teachers can do with their students. I especially like the journal article "Discovering Flowers in a New Light" this is an interesting 5E activity that I have never done or heard of but I feel that this will be a new and interesting activity to do. I also enjoyed that this collection includes a Science Objects, this can be an alternative to handing out worksheets; I only wish this collection added another Science Object that related to this topic. The web seminar is also great (for the teacher) this is very beneficial for teachers (learn the topic before teaching it). Overall, this is a very diverse collection that will be beneficial for both teachers and students.
