I love this idea? Because it's the whole earth it can be incorporated into several geography lessons. Students could, as said before, toss the ball around and see how many fingers reach the water. The game could also work with countries, such as which country is closest to the student's finger would be the one they would briefly discuss. Or, in older grades, it would be a very unique way ...
