This is a great resource and soemthing I will be sure to look back on later. Once kids reach elementary age they begin to question more and more science-related ideas. This will make for great conversation starters. I will want to answer as many questions as my students may have. As they will begin to wonder why they have certain traits.

I agree with you! Yes, this made for some great ideas, for older kids! This is a much needed topic of discussion and is very needed with what is going on in today's world! How could you incorporate this into younger elementary, or is this just something you have to wait until they're older? All things to consider.

Audra shared some great ideas when it came to getting students involved in the learning! Allowing them that little bit of freedom to think and discuss with their peers keeps their minds moving. The idea behind this particular topic, being, forms of energy, having that chance to really study examples hands-on will help them to understand. I thought this made for a great lesson idea for a classroom...
