Is it fair to test students in lab and lecture? I believe it's a science class, meaning it's one class, so why test twice. Is it not enough with a science lab, answering questions, and maybe write a conclusion at the end? I feel it's overwhelming to lecture about a science topic and test them, and then do a lab about the same topic and give another assessment for that.
