I enjoyed this podcast because she helps you take a look at what you are supposed to be consuming on a daily 2,000 calorie diet. She begins this video by showing us how to find such things as a total fat, sat fat, cholesterol, sodium, total carbohydrates and dietary fiber based on the 2,000 calorie diet. She explains that sodium and cholesterol stay the same but total fat, sat fat and total carbohydrates differ depending on the person. For example they mentioned if someone that consumes 1,600 calories than than that person should stick to something less than what was shown. This helps the audience understand how that works.
I like the way they brought up someone’s concern in the chat room asking what about sodium, if high blood pressure is an issue? And if so what is recommended? They went on to explain that depending on the person they would need to consume more. They expressed to the person that asked to talk to their doctor in order to level their consuming. She mentions that your body needs little sodium to replace what is lost. So someone with that problem would be consuming 1,000-2,400 milligrams, and in their case those numbers would not apply.
I really enjoyed this podcast I thought it was very informative. She person talking sounded like she knew what she was talking about and she was very helpful with the question being asked.
