Hello, I am pursing a Dual Early Childhood/Elementary BA. I will be beginning my professional year fall 2017! My passion is preschool age children. The passion and burning curiosity to understand and question the world around themselves is powerful and something that I live for. Watching a young child experience a new environment and how they observe with every sense is magical. Being outdoors is a huge part of my philosophy. Children are born scientists and being outdoors in the natural world is the best laboratory! As a child, I loved Earth Science therefore I am naturally drawn to that as a professional. If you found me out walking in the hills, chances are you would find a rock in my hand or see me squatting down to get a closer look at an insect. Children should be encouraged to question and to wonder and I will do my best to ensure that this happens with all of my students!
