I am currently a 5th grade teacher but have spent years teaching both 3rd and 4th grades. I love the intermediate grades, they bring such enthusiasm and rich conversations to my lessons. My first passion in teaching is Science. There is so much enjoyment and curiosity students bring to the table that inspires me to keep challenging them as well as myself. I am very excited about the new movement in Science instruction and I believe that this will encourage our students to be creative thinkers and problem solvers. With the changes I have made using STEM based and real world problems, my students have displayed so much enthusiasm! I believe that I am creating a classroom of innovative thinkers!
