I am a 23 year old, pre-service teacher in my last semester of methods courses at Purdue Calumet. While science has never been my strongest subject, I have always found it interesting and am looking forward to strengthening my content skills with NSTA!

Thanks to both of you for the advice. My plan is to just keep reviewing the information so I can form as many questions and responses as I can. I sometimes doubt the process a lot because I don't feel confident but if I know my content, everything will fall in place! I'm hoping the students have plenty of questions. The more I can talk, the more my jitters go away!

I should also mention that Discovery Education and BrainPop have a lot of videos and activities for simple machines. I've also found a book series by Michael Dahl that has a book for each of the simple machines. These should be helpful!
